The new Ban Pa Ao lighting collection manifests the steady growth of our collaboration with the Ban Pa Ao brass casting community over the last 2 years. As our relationship strengthened we have pushed our designs into a more ambitious realm with this modern lighting collection.
This series of sconces, pendants, and table lamps highlight signature Ban Pa Ao details like the coiled wax and rice husk blue patina. Every piece is unique due to the one-off manufacturing process which uses no molds or modern manufacturing technologies. The ancient techniques result in beautifully imperfect castings that show the hand of the maker and the natural materials involved in the process.
